"The product is easy to use with minimum buffer requirement as it is a dry blot techniques. It is a high throughput machine which can handle 4 transfers simultaneously in a record 7 min. Turbo your protein analysis.

"We trialed this and later bought 2 machines. This is a semi dry western blot system that has two cassettes that can do either 4 mini gels or two mini gels. You can use you own PVDF or nitrocellulose sandwiches, but we use the Bio-Rad prepared ones. Transfer time is between 3 and 7 minutes dependent on your protein. Initially I was skeptical, being brought up with wet transfer systems, with transfer times between 1hr and 1hr 30. Also, the fiddly cassette assembly with wet systems and for us, sometimes (rarely) variable results and having to diagnose the problem. This system used with the Bio-Rad sandwiches is plug and play. The reduction of waste is out BSL3 lab also makes this system ideal and it fits well with a quality system for repeatability. I checked transfer efficiency using silver staining on the gel after transfer and for us it was good. I would thoroughly recommend this."

"The transfer system is very easy to use, you can have the choice of using the Bio-Rad transfer buffer or your own. It also doesn't need a lot of buffer to transfer and takes only minutes to finish. After-sales service are also excellent as usual and the system is very good value for money. I would very much recommend this to those labs running protein work."

"The Trans-Blot system is very easy to use, clean and transfer from SDS gel to nitrocellulose membrane is fantastic, even low quantities of protein are transferred well. The Trans-Blot Turbo Transfer System is a high-performance western blotting transfer system designed to provide rapid transfers with high efficiency.
