It takes one hour to reach mass equilibrium (zero weight really staying at zero) although the instrument looks like it can be used right away. another problem is we have the Pyris running on Windows XP which was provided to us when there was Windows 7 by the official distributor company. They keep insisting on charging us for money when we just ask them to upgrade their software. Here is why we asked: in the lab we're using WiFi however, the PC is a desktop computer and Windows XP doesn't support WiFi adapters! Everyone tries to plug in their USB flash drives which has caused a viral infection on our computer! Unfortunately we also had purchased an infrared spectrometer from PerkinElmer too and its system also keeps crashing. Their only answer is "because our computer is HP". What the heck?!
