Separation of synthetic benzodiazepines by SPE and LC-MS/MS
In this application note, Phenomenex focuses on tracking and detecting synthetic benzodiazepines using effective LC-MS/MS techniques. The study quantifies 14 compounds in a urine matrix with high-sensitivity using fast LC analysis. The panel includes 13 "synthetic" benzodiazepines, and Alprazolam is added for necessary differentiation. Strata®-X-Drug B Plus is chosen as the ideal SPE plate, and a Kinetex® Biphenyl LC column is used for chromatographic separation.
Method Development Challenges with Hair and Oral Fluid Samples
This application note sets out the challenges and preparation steps for drug detection in alternative matrices such as hair and oral fluids, simplifying methods development for performing LC-MS/MS separations for these samples.
An Optimized Workflow for for Drugs of Abuse Testing using Strata-X-Drug B Plus In-Well Hydrolysis SPE
This technical note investigates a simplified method for enzyme hydrolysis in urine samples followed by SPE clean-up and Phenyl-Hexyl column extraction, which provides good recovery of neutral and basic drugs of abuse.
