"We have been very pleased (so far) with our PEAK Hydrogen Generator. We had been using a different brand for over 30 years, but we unhappy with the robustness of them for several years. When the most recent version broke down we decided to try a different company. So far (7 months) so good. The generator has performed well, requires very little maintenance and we have been happy with the service (our contact person with PEAK has been keeping in touch and sometimes drops by)."

"We've had quite a few issues with this instrument. It was purchased for a GC that we've had for over a year. This GC has only been in operation for approximately 20% of the time. GC had to be connected to outside air use. Currently working out issues with Generator."

Manufacturer's Response"Peak Scientific regret that this particular customer’s experience fell well short of our usual high standards. We have since made improvements to the generator model in question to ensure that a situation such as this does not occur again. The customer’s generator was replaced in October 2015 and when Peak’s representative visited in early February 2016 the generator was operating as expected with no more reported issues to date."
The Precision Hydrogen generators are designed to provide the gas needed for detectors requiring Hydrogen fuel gas, such as FID and FPD. One generator is capable of supplying multiple detectors, and are available in various flow rates to ideally suit individual customers’ needs.
These generators utilise a Proton Exchange Membrane to create the Hydrogen gas from deionized water, and a desiccant filtration stage is used to dry the gas.
