Versatile instrument and very good for analyzing western blots.
Western blot and taking gel image
I have been using this imaging system since last year and happy with it. I have been mainly using it for western blot and taking images of SDS gel. Happy with performance and there are so many things you can do to analyze your western blot etc. I would recommend it.

Great equipment for every lab doing bench work.
Imaging, western blot
We bought the CLx last October for the lab, primarily for western blot imaging and analysis. The signal is very clear and sensitive. We can blot different proteins by taking advantage of the different color channels. We also explore other functions such as using it as a scanner for our crystal violet cologenic assay. The software is great for organizing blots and we can export them any time. The quantification function is simple and straightforward.
