SelectScience is delighted to announce that #MyNeuroVote poll will be returning to Neuroscience 2015. Attendees of the show can visit the SelectScience booth #1747 to cast their vote on eight of the best products for Neuroscience research. Each voter will receive a gift from SelectScience.

Last year hundreds of scientists took part during the show with the ZEISS Microscopy LSM 880 with Airyscan being announced as the first winner of #MyNeuroVote.

This year’s nominated products are:

1. BINDER: CO2 Incubator CB 160

2. BioTek Instruments, Inc: Cytation™ 5 Cell Imaging Multi-Mode Reader

3. Bio-Rad: V3 Western Workflow™

4. EMD Millipore: Neuroscience Antibody Portfolio

5. Eppendorf: InjectMan 4 Microinjector

6. LI-COR Biosciences: Odyssey® CLx Infrared Imaging System

7. Thermo Scientific Invitrogen™ EVOS™ FL Auto Cell Imaging System with EVOS™ Onstage Incubator

8. ZEISS Microscopy: ZEISS LSM 880 with Airyscan

If you are planning to attend the show, come by booth #1747 and join in the fun. Your vote counts!

Results will be streamed live at the SelectScience booth throughout Neuroscience. The manufacturer of the winning product will be presented with a prize and certificate on Wednesday 21 October, 3.30pm (CDT) at the winner’s booth.

InjectMan® 4 Micromanipulator

Eppendorf

The new InjectMan® 4 is ideal for microinjection into adherent cells, smaller organisms and embryos in the early stages of development. The combination of InjectMan 4, FemtoJet® 4i or 4x enables a fast, semi-automatic injection. Furthermore, the InjectMan 4 is the ideal micromanipulator for all complex applications that require a dynamic movement mode and direct control of the injection process via the joystick button. The axial movement ensures the optimal protection of sensitive cells and lowest possible mortality rate. The high advancing speed makes penetration in rigid structures easier than ever. Maximum stability and highest precision ensures accurate and drift-free work. The new user interface with four pre-defined application masks facilitates and eases the individual workflow process (e.g. for adherent cell injection, serial microinjection into fish larvae, etc.). The freely programmable "My app" mask can be optimized for specific individual needs. Features: Maximum stability ensures drift-free work Selection and programming of additional functions (e.g. axial movement, step injection) Ergonomically shaped control panel for fatigue-free work Easy and precise angle adjustment Connection with Eppendorf PiezoXpert for piezo-supported penetration over a pre-defined distance Can be adapted to all conventional microscopes PC interface for remote control Applications: Semi-automatic microinjection into adherent cells Serial microinjection into fish larvae, frog eggs, insect embryos, etc. Injection into C. elegans and other roundworms and flatworms Automatic dispensing of cell suspensions or solutions
