Great system for nuceofecting!
Application Area: Transfection
"This system works exactly as intended. Nucleofections are easier to perform as well as scalable to low and high throughput. Great service and wide selection of protocols available with minimal troubleshooting."

Great method for getting constructs and siRNA into cell lines
Application Area:Transfection of cell lines
"This is a great method for very high efficiency of cultured cell lines. It's simple to use, very highly reproducible."

Application Area:Nucleofection Of Primary Cortical Neurones (E16)
"I use the lonza kits (cuvettes) and provided buffer. On the day of plating I get over 80% nucleofection in general and minimal cell death. I've used this product to nucleofect primary cortical, striatal, hippocampal and mixed cultures with great success. "

"There are new versions available, but we are concerned about reproducibility if we switch."
The basic Nucleofector® II Device is a single cuvette based system that has been used in research labs since 2001. It allows efficient transfection of hard-to-transfect cell lines and primary cells with different substrates, e.g. DNA vectors or siRNA oligonucleotides, in low throughput format.
