The HLD117 linear motorised stage from Prior Scientific is designed for the very best in precision, accuracy and versatility.
Linear motors result in extremely smooth movement with almost no velocity ripple at a range of speeds from between 300 mm/sec and 1 um/sec which coupled with extremely fine resolution and accuracy make this motorised stage suitable for the most demanding applications in the life sciences. Incubation chambers can be easily and simply inserted into the stage, making the HLD117 particularly well suited to live cell imaging.
A flat top design allows for plenty of space on the stage whilst a range of sample holders ensure that this stage is suitable for a wide array of applications involving slides, Petri dishes and multi-well plates. 50 nm encoders, substantially increasing repeatability, are provided as standard on the HLD117. Intelligent Scanning Technology, which assures the accuracy and repeatability of the HLD117 still further is also a feature of these stages.
