Love the automated cell counter.
Application Area:Cell counting
"Cell counter makes cell count so much easier and it shows the percentage and amount of dead cells versus viable cells which is great. The sales reps were amazing and so helpful, allowing us to try the cell counter for almost a month before purchasing. "

Easy to use compact cell counter.
Application Area:Cell Counting
"A compact cell counter for easy cell count of mammalian cells. This is handy in your cell culture lab. The machine provides nearly accurate estimates of total cell count, viable cell count/ dead cell count and percentage viability of your sample. The cells after trypsinization can be loaded (10ul) on a Countess slide after mixing with the trypan blue dye provided. The machine distinguishes the viable and dead cells based on the dye exclusion. It is easy to use, does not require too much maintenance and works relatively trouble free."

Great equipment.
Application Area:Automatic cell count
"The equipment is really handy and easy to use. It performs the task of counting live as well as dead cells in a fraction of a few seconds. It also provides images of the cells counted. Data can be stored on machine or transferred to a computer."

Good tiny machine. Work great with most of the cell types with some limitations.
Application Area:count cell
"Countess II is very easy to use and it's a small machine for the bench top. It's as simple as adding a 1:1 ratio of typhon blue (5ul) and your sample (5ul). You mix and pipet onto the plastic slide, wait 30 sec, then insert the plastic slide into the machine. You get the result of adjusted concentration and viability % of the live and/or dead cell of the sample. However, the limitation is that the cell size has to be in certain range. If it's too small, the readings won't be accurate. Also, it won't be accurate if it contains more than one type of cell."

Definitely worth the money!
Application Area:Tissue Culture
"This has made our life in a massive teaching lab so much easier. Not having to manually count cells using a haemocytometer several times a week makes having this worth the money. The task that took us a several minutes to do now takes merely a few seconds. The instrument is very easy to use and quite small as well so doesn't take up much space."

Great results, cant live without this instrument.
Application Area:Counting cells
"The instrument is very simple to use and user-friendly platform, mix your cells with trypan blue and load the samples to the slides and inserted. It will give the results like less than 30 sec and more accureate."

"Easy to use, could provide consistent counting instead of manual."
The Countess 3 Automated Cell Counter is a benchtop cell counting system equipped with an advanced machine-learning algorithm, ruggedized optics, fully-automated focus and lighting, and image analysis software for rapid assessment of primary and immortalized cell samples.
The Countess 3 Automated Cell Counter works in two simple steps:
Get accurate cell counts
The Countess 3 Automated Cell Counter uses trypan blue staining combined with auto-focus and lighting driven by a machine-learning image analysis algorithm to obtain accurate cell and viability counts. The measurement range extends from 1 × 104 to 1 × 107 cells/mL (the optimal range is 1 × 105 to 4 × 106 cells/mL), which is broader than that of a hemocytometer.
Transfer data and images to your PC or cloud
Using the USB port on the Countess 3 Automated Cell Counter and any USB drive, you can save your cell count results and images and transfer them to your PC. Alternatively, use the Wi-Fi dongle and save results to the cloud for remote access and sharing.
