Great methylation rat controls.

"We do methylation analysis. First, we do a bisulfite treatment with the rat high and low methylated genomic DNA to validate the new assays we have designed. This works very well and we have consistent results. We also use the high/low rat methylated DNA as controls with the samples we want to tests. We looked for different sources to find these controls for rats and these are the best ones."

Low methylated and high methylated DNA are derived from treatments of DNA isolated from whole blood. They are intended to be utilized as controls in DNA methylation analysis, beginning with bisulfite modification, to PCR amplification and finally NGS or pyrosequencing analysis. Human, mouse, rat, and monkey are immediately available and controls for other species can be ordered upon request.
