"We ordered the long-time option of the Coriolis. It comes nicely packed. However, the liquid supply tubing was blocked before the first usage. fortunately we had spare tubing to replace it. Before purchasing the device we had a nice in-house presentation of the different Coriolis devices, provided by Bertin. The buttons on top of the device are a bit hard to press. Overall, the handling is really intuitive and easy. It would be nice to have a long-term monitoring system where the Coriolis is fixed to its stand instead of just putting it on top of the 'long-term measuring table'."

Thanks to the innovative cyclonic technology, a large range of aerosol particles (bacteria, fungi, moulds, pollens, viruses) can be concentrated into the collection liquid, without saturation of the collection media.
Compared to traditional impaction methods on agar plates, Coriolis® µ is suitable not only for analysis by culture, but also for direct and rapid analysis methods (PCR, Cytometry, immuno-analysis, ATP-luminescence etc). It provides thus access to analysis of viable but not cultivable flora (VNC) that the impaction method cannot satisfy.
Light (<3kg) and easy to decontaminate (autoclavable parts and single use consumables), Coriolis® µ is designed for clean rooms and indoor air control, and can be applied in pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industries, hospitals and health care centers etc.
