"The XCEL I well plates are the most efficient SPE system on the market today, in terms of cost, throughput and laboratory footprint. We have traditionally used the phase with conditioning steps, and have now begun to realize the advantages with exploiting their ability to skip this extra step, saving solvent and time. The staff at UCT has been nothing short of outstanding in terms of customer service, follow-up and support. I visit with them at annual conferences, and I am in regular contact with their international sales representative and the toxicology technical support. When we first started using SPE, they were the first and only company to highlight critical aspects of the SPE process (bedmass drying) to optimize the extraction, despite trying numerous vendors' products. Based on the cost and efficiency of the XCEL I platform, and the support I receive from UCT staff, I'm a dedicated customer. "
The Clean Screen Xcel products are a line of sample prep phases designed to reduce the number of steps in the extraction, and therefore the amount of time and solvent necessary to complete the sample cleanup. Further advantages include reduced sample size and improved cleanliness and recovery. The Xcel I well plate will extract a wide array of basic drugs including benzodiazepines and opiates. The Xcel II well plate is designed solely for the extraction of the THC metabolite.
