User-friendly washer that works well for small volume plates.
Application Area: Wash-steps for cells plated in 384-well plates
"I used the BlueWasher for washing cells (HEK293 and CHO-K1) after overnight incubation. Using small volume Greiner 384 well plates and 3x GentleSpinWash with PBS, I got very robust and reproducible results using CHO-K1 cells. PDL-coating and switching to HBSS as wash medium helped to get the HEK293 cell lines to work as well. Unfortunately, switching to regular 384 well plates led to loss of a high amount of cells. Overall, the washer is easy to use and to maintain. I definitely recommend it for small volume plates but see deficits using higher volume plates."
