This flow cytometer adds great value to the clinical and standardized approach for flow cytometry. The QC beads-based approach of standardization is great, reliable and very efficient. And the user management and audit trail functions make it compliant with regulatory constraints. The drawback of this system is a relative lack of flexibility for more R&D-based approaches, even if it remains largely manageable (after understanding and accepting the constraints).
