Sialidases free of enzymatic contaminants
Application Area: Biochemistry
"Working with glycosidases is not a piece of cake. First of all, you need to be sure about the quality of the enzyme you will apply in your experiment. I searched for many sialidases in market and the only product I found that declared the absence of protease or others enzymatic contaminants was the Neuraminidase from NEB. The other products did not provide this level of guarantee."
α2-3,6,8,9 Neuraminidase A is a broad specificity sialidase, which cleaves linear and branched non-reducing terminal sialic acid residues from glycoproteins, glycopeptides, and oligosaccharides. It can be used for glycan analysis and characterization and intact glycoprotein remodeling, in vitro and in vivo.
