ScanR is a modular microscope-based imaging platform designed for fully automated image acquisition and data analysis of biological samples. Designed in collaboration with the EMBL (Heidelberg, Germany), scanR can handle many different formats, including multi-well plates, slides and custom-built arrays. This unmatched flexibility makes it equally adept at routine and advanced applications, while preconfigured scripts for common applications improve efficiency. Its powerful analysis module provides complex image analysis and advanced data evaluation for standard and bespoke assays.
The new scanR system provides fully automated image acquisition and data analysis of biological samples through deep-learning technology. This microscope-based screening system has the power and flexibility to:
- Accommodate multiwell plates, slides, and custom-built arrays
- Handle fixed and live cells for quantitative imaging and analysis inmodern cell biology, molecular biology, systems biology, and medical research
- Establish assays with groundbreaking analysis capabilities
- Reduce photobleaching and improve throughput, measurement sensitivity, and accuracy to facilitate longer observations with reduced influence on cell viability
