Good versatile instrument needs little improvements
Biopharma analysis
System is very sophisticated. Capillary preparation requires keen skills. Its voltage drops and the run is discontinued because of environmental moisture, its very sensitive to RH of lab and has to be kept unused in some rainy days. The cIEF test capillary doesnot run beyond one run and very sensitive to air exposure. Very costly capillary and runs for one run only (Maximum 20 samples). It has good softare for annotations and integration.

Good workhorse, but pricey.
Analyzing impurities and isoelectric focusing
Machine itself is great. But I feel that it is a little bit overpriced (for the amount of applications that can be run on it). After service (service contract) is also expensive. Every time that machine is not working and we need to call service, the price tag is big. So, bottom line, ratio of money invested and revenue generated by that equipment is high. Another downside is that machine comes with Vendor software but in our lab we have to use Empower software and it is very hard to "marry" them together, although it is doable to some extent.
