Cryo.s™ with Datamatrix Code and Linear Barcode

With the option for barcoding, Greiner Bio-One adds a beneficial feature to its well-tried range of Cryo.s. Barcoded Cryo.s carry a linear barcode type 128 on their side and, in the case of starfoot-base tubes, a datamatrix Code ECC200 at their bottom. These codes qualify the tubes for use within automated sample processing and storage systems which require tube tracking via machine-readable IDs. In addition, each tube carries a human-readable representation of the code contents, thus allowing for the user-friendly readout of tube IDs without barcode readers. Both, datamatrix codes and linear barcodes, are applied by modern laser labeling technologies resulting in very robust and temperature-resistant labels. Greiner Bio-One provides the choice between pre-coded tubes with unique IDs orderable off-the-shelf and a customized barcoding service.
