The Agencourt CleanSEQ system is a rapid, high performance dye-terminator removal process based on Solid Phase Reversible Immobilization (SPRI) technology. The paramagnetic bead format requires no centrifugation or filtration and is easily performed manually or fully automated for high throughput dye-terminator removal. The Agencourt CleanSEQ system produces sequences with longer Phred 20 read lengths and higher signal intensities than any other purification technology. The Agencourt CleanSEQ protocol does not require precipitation, filtration or centrifugation. The Agencourt SPRI technology is easily scaled and automation friendly, allowing both high throughput and format flexibility. Agencourt Bioscience has written and optimized software methods for Beckman Coulter's Biomek Laboratory Automation Workstations.
Features:
- Long Phred 20 read lengths averaging over 700 bps
- Pass rates of 85% or higher Increased average signal strength
- Efficient elimination of sequencing reaction contaminants
Scalable, Automation Friendly and High Throughput PCR Purification
Agencourt CleanSEQ is a SPRID (Solid Phase Reversible Immobilization) paramagnetic bead-based sequencing purification system with a simple three-step protocol. The Agencourt CleanSEQ method requires no centrifugation or filtration and efficiently purifies sequencing products to deliver superior quality sequencing data. Agencourt CleanSEQ’s flexible, simple, and automation-compatible format is the preferred purification system of many genomic research facilities.
Automated TruSeq RNA Sample Preparation from FFPE Tissue Specimens Utilizing the Biomek FXp Liquid Handler
This application note from BeckmanCoulter describes how to use the Biomek FXp Liquid Handler. This has also been demonstrated in a webinar from SelectScience which can be viewed on demand here. The example in this application note uses archival FFPE tissue specimens and the RNA is extracted using the Beckman Coulter Agencourt FormaPure kit.
