Ethyl glucuronide (EtG) and ethyl sulfate (EtS) are conjugated ethanol metabolites formed in low amounts in the body following alcohol consumption. This application note demonstrates cleaner extracts and lower LOD’s/LOQ’s can be achieved in the analysis of EtG and EtS using the Selectra® ETG HPLC column with UCT’s FASt® ETG SPE cartridge.

The QuEChERS Clean-up step is rapidly completed using the QuICK QuEChERS cartridge. This self-contained cartridge contains 110 mg of anhydrous MgSO4 and 180 mg of PSA. Clean-up is equivalent to dSPE clean-up, but faster and easier, eliminating the need for centrifugation.
