This method eliminates timely centrifugation, reduces matrix suppression effects, and removes particulates greater than ~1μm. A FASTer and Cleaner Alternative to ‘Dilute and Shoot’
The increased volume in recent years of confirmatory tests in urine toxicology by LC/MS/MS has led to alternatives to traditional sample preparation techniques. The usual liquid/liquid or solid phase extraction with concentration has given way to ‘dilute and shoot’ of urine samples. This poster shows how the FASt method addresses shortcomings of this method by applying a lowered urine sample dilution (as low as 1:1) to the specially designed cartridge.
