The air-cooled PRESTO® A85 and PRESTO® A85t and the water-cooled PRESTO® W85 and PRESTO® W85t cover the extremely wide working temperature range of -85 to +250 °C.
PRESTO® A85 and W85 have a heating capacity of 6 kW, but this is more than doubled to 15 kW in PRESTO® A85t and W85t. Cooling capacity is as high as 2.8 kW. As a result, all units are ready to compensate for both exothermic and endothermic reactions with extraordinary speed.
Powerful, maintenance-free pumps generate pressure of up to 3.2 bar and a flow rate of 80 l/min. They ensure high flow rates with constant pressure and are able to dynamically compensate for changes to the viscosity of the heat-transfer liquid.
Product features:
- Extremely fast cool-down and heat-up times
- Wide working temperature range of -85 to 250 °C
- Very fast compensation of exothermic and endothermic reactions
- Heating capacity: 6 kW (A85 and W85); 15 kW (A85t and W85t)
- Cooling capacity (kW): 2.5 (20°C), 2.4 (0°C), 2.4 (-20°C), 2.4 (-40 °C), 2.2 (-60°C)
- Pump capacity: Flow rate 35 to 80 l/min; Pressure 0.48 to 3.2 bar

Types of freezers include deep freeze, -80C°C, ultra-low temperature, explosion proof, cryogenic and controlled rate freezers. Freezing is also used in freeze-drying equipment for dehydration processes. Feature to consider in freezers include temperature control and recorders, failure alarms and self-closing mechanisms.Heating EquipmentA range of heating equipment is available for different laboratory applications including furnaces, ovens and hotplates. Furnace systems include vacuum furnaces and ultra-high temperature furnaces and ovens comprise of convection and vacuum ovens.Thermal Analysis EquipmentThermal analysis equipment is used for measuring heat flow, weight loss, dimension changes or thermomechanical properties and is important for analyzing a material’s performance and stability. Thermal analysis equipment includes differential scanning calorimeters (DSC), thermogravimetric analyzers (TGA), thermomechanical analyzers (TMA), dilatometers, thermometers, vapor sorption analyzers, boiling and melting point apparatus. Thermal analyzers can reveal properties such as melting, crystallization and glass transitions or other processes such as oxidation, decomposition, volatilization, as well as coefficients of thermal expansion and modulus.
