Product news

ULVAC Technologies, Inc. has introduced the GHD-031 magnetically coupled, oil-sealed rotary vane pump that does not leak. It operates cleaner than other rotary vane pumps because it has no rotary shaft seals to wear out. A built-in check valve at the inlet port prevents oil backflow, eliminating messy cleanups and downtime that contaminate the users' laboratory or workspace.

GHD pumps offer reduced power consumption and quieter operation. They have a pumping speed of 36 l/m and ultimate vacuum of 5 x 10-3 Torr. GHD pumps are ideal for analytical instruments, cryostats and general laboratory use due to their high pumping speed, cool running temperature, compact size and quiet, trouble-free operation. They offer a wide range voltage motor and are CE and cTUVus certified.

PumpsLaboratory pumps are devices used to move liquids and gases by vacuum or positive displacement. The pressures/vacuums generated are determined by the type of pump used. High vacuum pumps include diffusion, ion, roots and turbopumps; for primary/medium vacuum applications see rotary vane pumps, scroll & diaphragm pumps. For the positive displacement of liquids explore a range of syringe and peristaltic pumps, as well as fluid aspirators.
