Product news

The new on line measuring System 182 is a remarkably compact two-channel monitor with integrated power supply, controller, user interface, analog outputs and relays or optional digital outputs.

This system is particularly suitable as a replacement or supplement for single or dual measuring points in existing water and wastewater treatment plants:

  • For two IQ sensors at user’s choice.
  • A total of 19 different sensors available
  • All parameters, from pH, ORP, D.O., conductivity, temperature and turbidity/suspended solids to nutrient parameters like ammonium, nitrate and COD, can be measured directly in the process
  • Integrated wide-range power supply unit (110–240 VAC) or 24 V version
  • Digital PROFIBUS or Modbus output
  • Analog version with 2 analog outputs and 3 relays

Typical applications, e.g. control of nitrification/denitrification can be covered with one single system 182: Just connect the D.O. and the ammonium or nitrate sensor and you will instantly obtain the data to control your process!

The user can select the display of either a single or of two measurement values including a secondary parameter (e.g. temperature). Clear text operator guidance is identical with all IQ SENSOR NET Systems.

A plain "junction box" DIQ/JB is available for connecting a second or a remote IQ sensor, as well as a DIQ/CHV magnetic valve module for automatic air cleaning of the sensor. These two modules can be mounted on a common fitting panel and attached to a mounting stand.

pH Meters and ElectrodesIon and pH meters are electrochemical equipment used to measure the pH (acidity or alkalinity) or specific ion concentration of a solution. Other meters can also measure the conductivity or dissolved oxygen content of a solution. pH meters, specific ion meters, conductivity meters and dissolved oxygen meters can come as benchtop or portable equipment. A meter’s electrodes can be replaced with easy to clean electrodes or electrodes for difficult media. pH, ion and conductivity meters are typically used in life science research, pharmaceutical testing, food and beverage, environmental and water analysis. Find the best pH meters and electrodes in our peer-reviewed product directory: compare products, check customer reviews and receive pricing direct from manufacturers.Environmental Monitoring and TestingEnvironmental monitoring and testing uses handheld portable analyzers, kits, spectrometers or chromatography systems for air, water, soil, food and other sample testing. Useful features of analyzers such as BOD and COD include portability, easy calibration, automation and sensitivity.  Environmental test kits for pH, water, moisture, etc, should be accurate, sensitive, reliable, fast and easy to use.pH and Conductivity MetersIon and pH meters, used for electrochemical techniques and measurements, measure the concentration of specific ions using electrodes (probes) and a meter. Features of ph and ion meters to consider include temperature compensation, auto-calibration, adjustable resolution, measurable range and accuracy. Meters can be handheld, portable, benchtop and modular.
