AUTO rack GRIPTIPS® for benchtop platforms

INTEGRA Biosciences has launched the My Green Lab® ACT® Ecolabel certified AUTO rack GRIPTIPS® pipette tips for its benchtop liquid handling platforms. These latest additions to the company’s consumables range aim to further reduce the use of plastics in INTEGRA products, marking another critical step towards meeting its Science Based Target initiatives (SBTi) goals.

The new AUTO rack GRIPTIPS pipette tips are designed for use with INTEGRA’s MINI 96, VIAFLO 96, VIAFLO 384 and ASSIST PLUS benchtop platforms, complementing the popular ECO rack GRIPTIPS for handheld pipettes.

AUTO rack GRIPTIPS are available in 12.5, 125, 300 and 1,250 μL volumes – including 12.5 and 125 μL GRIPTIPS® EF (enhanced fit) tips for reduced loading forces – and are delivered in a refillable format that reduces plastic waste by 43 percent. Empty racks can be stacked and compressed after use, reducing the amount of recycling container space required by 50 percent.

AUTO racks are used in combination with an autoclavable AUTO base – made from 75 percent recycled aluminum – that provides the stability needed during tip loading. This design reduces the amount of plastic required to manufacture each AUTO rack by an average of 43 percent compared with the previous INTEGRA 6000 Series racks. These reusable bases, which are fully recyclable at the end of their lifespan, are available in small and large sizes to accommodate AUTO rack GRIPTIPS in different volumes and formats.

D-ONE AUTO bases designed specifically for workflows using the D-ONE single channel pipetting module in combination with AUTO racks are also available.

Next-Generation SequencingNext-generation sequencing (NGS), also known as whole-genome sequencing, high-throughput sequencing and massive parallel sequencing, produces and analyses thousands to millions of nucleotide sequences at once. Sequencing systems operate via varying technologies depending on the manufacturer, including sequencing by synthesis, ligation, pyrosequencing, ion semiconductor and single-molecule real-time sequencing. For NGS, library preparation is paramount to successful sequencing. In this section, explore a range of library preparation kits, from targeted, amplicon-based or hybridization-based kits including epigenomic, transcriptomic and genomic workflows to fragmentation kits.
