New line of Xsample sample changers
Anton Paar has launched its new line of Xsample sample changers for handling low-viscosity samples. Designed to meet the needs of laboratories across all sizes and industries, the series offers scalable automation for every step of the workflow – from sample identification and filling to cleaning, drying, and centralized data management via AP Connect.
The enhanced Xsample portfolio combines performance with intelligent functionality. Seamless integration with Anton Paar master instruments and the AP Connect lab execution system enables reliable, traceable measurements with minimal manual intervention.
Smart features – including 1D/2D code scanning for sample and method identification and a customizable magazine that adapts to existing vial formats – support efficient workflows in applications such as beverage production, pharmaceutical testing, and petrochemical analysis.
The new Xsample series includes four models tailored to different automation needs:
Xsample 3100: Smart, cost-effective automation for single low-viscosity samples, featuring simple 'place-and-start' operation, guided workflows, and compact design
Xsample 3200: Single-sample automation with advanced cleaning features, including inside/outside needle cleaning, multi-solvent support, and automated sample recovery
Xsample 5100: High-throughput multi-sample handling for fully unattended operation, with customizable magazine, barcode scanning, and one-click sample prioritization
Xsample 5200: Advanced multi-sample solution with fully automated filling, rinsing, drying, and intelligent sample recognition, delivering up to 35 % faster processing than comparable systems
“The Xsample family offers the most comprehensive range of automated sample changers on the market,” says Franz Arnold-Marx, Product Manager at Anton Paar.“With a level of automation to match every workflow, it takes care of the routine work so you can focus on what matters, with full confidence in the results.”
