TechTalk: How to stabilize plasma proteins at the point of collection for reliable proteomics
Friday, April 24 at 15:30 BST | 16:30 CEST | 10:30 EDT | 7:30 PDT
Preanalytical variables introduced during blood collection and handling can distort plasma proteomic profiles, compromise data quality, and impact reproducibility. Hemolysis, platelet activation, cellular leakage, and proteolytic degradation often occur before analysis and are not adequately controlled by general blood collection tubes.
In this SelectScience® TechTalk, held in partnership with DNA Genotek Inc., we will examine how stabilizing proteins at the point of collection and maintaining sample homeostasis for 7 days support proteomic researchers in generating high-quality data.
Using data generated across traditional proteomic technologies and high‑throughput affinity‑based platforms, including Illumina™ Protein Prep, we will discuss how preanalytical control enables delayed processing, flexible workflows, and reliable protein measurements without compromising biological integrity.
Attendees will gain practical insights into managing preanalytical risk and generating reliable proteomic data.
