In this video, Dr. Igor Lednev, Professor in Chemistry at the State University of New York, Albany, NY, discusses his research using Raman hyperspectroscopy and machine learning for their application in Alzheimer's research and identification and characterization of biological stains for forensic investigations. Dr. Lednev also explains how in the future, these new methodologies aim to be applied for the diagnostics and identification of many other diseases.
