Cell painting on Araceli Endeavor HCI Platform produces comparable phenotypic profiles

The speed at which researchers can deliver high content results is currently limited by the speed at which they can acquire plates. In this presentation, Dr. Fernanda Garcia Fóssa, from the Compound Management and Screening Center (COMAS) at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Physiology, shares how they reduced image acquisition from 3.5 hours per plate to just 7 minutes per plate using the Araceli Endeavor® platform. Dr. Martin Theiss also outlines the full Endeavor® portfolio from Araceli Biosciences, including the new Endeavor® Pro and Endeavor® Ultra.

Hear insights directly from the Araceli experts in this video interview.

This video was filmed at SLAS Europe 2025.

High-Content ScreeningHigh-content screening (HCS), also known as high-content analysis (HCA), is a high-throughput technique used in drug discovery to identify substances that alter the phenotype of cells. HCS uses fluorescent microscopic imaging and automated image analysis to investigate cellular events such as apoptosis, cell viability, GPCR activation, oxide production, neurite outgrowth, and cell signaling. Find the best fluorescent labeling reagents, cellular assays, and high-content imaging systems in our peer-reviewed product directory: compare products, check customer reviews and receive pricing direct from manufacturers.High Content ImagingHigh content imaging is a method combining two or more fluorescent microscopy experiments to identify substances that alter a cell’s phenotype in a desired manner. The process is adapted to multi-well plates and both the image acquisition and analysis are automated.SLASThe Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) is an organization focused on laboratory automation, high-throughput screening, and biotechnology innovation.
