Thermal stability analysis of antibodies using differential scanning calorimetry

7 May 2026

This application note explores the use of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) to assess the thermal stability and structure‑function relationships of antibodies. Using the Nano DSC system, the study demonstrates how unfolding transitions, thermodynamic parameters, and domain‑level interactions can be characterized with high sensitivity. The method provides insight into antibody conformational stability by analyzing thermal denaturation profiles and deconvoluting complex thermograms, supporting applications in biopharmaceutical development, formulation optimization, and quality assessment.
