29 Jun 2014This application note describes the use of a single reaction chamber microwave digestion for the digestion of pharmaceutical samples prior to ICP-MS analysis according to draft USP chapters <232> and <233>. Following the optimization of digestion methodology (vial type, digestion matrix and temperature program), dietary supplements are digested and analyzed for toxic elements.
