Overcoming the Limitations of Split/Splitless Inlets Using Large-Volume Injection

This paper provides a short overview of the drawbacks of split/splitless inlets used for GC, and how these can be tackled through large-volume injection (LVI) using the OPTIC-4 multi-mode inlet from GL Sciences.
