Impurity Analysis of Aminoglycoside Antibiotic using the Agilent InfinityLab Poroshell 120 HILIC-Z with ELSD Detection

The 1260 Infinity III Evaporative Light Scattering Detector (ELSD), although targeted at analytical scale, can also be used with a flow splitter for preparative chromatography applications. It is highly recommended for compounds with little or no UV chromophore, since the detector technique evaporates the solvent and then measures the intensity of the scattered light, which is directly proportional to the sample concentration.
