The platform uses a precisely micropatterned co-culture of primary hepatocytes and stromal cells to maintain liver-specific function for more than four weeks. This extended stability supports research involving low-clearance compounds, repeat dosing and chronic exposure that can be difficult to assess in conventional in vitro systems.
