Effective Strategies for Phospholipid Removal using Polymer-based Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) and LC-MS/MS Analysis

26 Oct 2011

This poster evaluates the use of polymer-based solid phase extraction (SPE) sorbents, incorporating hydrophobic and various mixed-mode retention mechanisms to address the problems associated with phospholipid removal. Further analysis by LC-MS/MS was performed to confirm the effectiveness of a variety of applications and protocols.

ISOLUTE SLE+ Supported Liquid Extraction Products

Biotage

ISOLUTE® SLE+ plates and columns enable efficient supported liquid extraction of analytes from whole blood, plasma, serum, urine, and oral fluid. The simple load-wait-elute method delivers 99.9% removal of proteins and phospholipids without offline steps, offering superior recovery, reproducibility, and cleaner extracts than liquid-liquid extraction.
