Characterization of Mesenchymal Stem Cells

16 Nov 2017

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are fibroblastoid multipotent adult stem cells with a high capacity for self-renewal, and have been isolated from a variety of human tissues. This poster defines three criteria developed by the International Society for Cellular Therapy (ISCT) for ensuring the integrity and identification of human MSCs, providing a common set of comparable criteria for MSC research.
