Application of High Performance Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry to the Non-Targeted Detection of Illicit Drugs of Abuse in Urine

29 May 2012

High Resolution TOF-MS is interfaced to UHPLC and used to detect and identify an unknown, illicit drug and its metabolites in a urine sample. This technique is shown to be of particular use when detecting synthetic drugs which are designed to be undetected by existing methodologies.
