A Novel Food Freshness Assay Based on ATP Depletion Part 1
24 Jul 2016This application note demonstrates the validation and application of automated liquid handling and monochromator detection for a newly released Freshness Assay for testing animal muscle tissue (tested on fish/seafood). Our validation data indicate that the NovoCIB Precice® Freshness Assay is amenable to BioTek automated liquid handling instrumentation and monochromator detection of NADH at 340 nm in 96-well microplate format offering standard operating procedure efficiency and diverse workflow, throughput, and detection options in most any laboratory environment.
