"I analyze C14 (tetradecanol) and C16 (esadecanol) by GC (Agilent 6890) using ZB-1. After each run with Restek RTX-1, I had to clean the injector and replace the gold seal and inlet line. After most runs with ZB-1, I could get away with just changing the inlet and not having to clean or trim the column. The separation was similar but the Zebron lasted about 2 to 3 times longer, which means saving money."
