I have been using Lovibond color instruments since 1990 and have found them to be reliable, affordable and accurate. Outside of changing a lamp and compliance calibrations, I can't think of a time the instrument failed, they usually just got replaced when there was a new feature. We keep them for many years and the cost of ownership is very low. We are a production environment and the instrument can be used by anyone and provides accurate results.

Measurement of colors of fatty acids
Product is good and easy to use. Repeatability and accuracy of product is good. Need to improve heating system or sample chamber as heater is getting damage early. Rest of the features are good.

I have been using Lovibond devices for more than 20 years, but I wanted to change to another type, I actually changed to a German company, but I suffered a lot because of this change until I recently bought the newer model which made the difference again in terms of accuracy and stability of the results. As for the use, it is the easiest of all. As for aftersales care, there is some delay in responding to maintenance requests.
