Great value if you are on a budget.

"This software is a giant step up from using excel and google docs for managing our lab. The cost is much lower than the bigger software companies and we can do lots of configuration ourselves. "

Ease of use, no annual cost, store all data with attachements.
Application Area:Biotechnology
"LabCollector is a very intuitive program which is highly flexible and very easy to customize. As a user, you are in full control. Able to do most customization yourself. Customizing LabCollector is also not labor intensive. As they have no annual license fee and such it is quite inexpensive. As it uses modules it structures all your data in an orderly fashion. With very little training all staff can use LabCollector at the fullest potential. In addition you can make export templates to export not only the data but also your attached documents. With different kind off alerts you are in full control of your contracts, storage and maintenance of your equipment."

Great product, a few upgrades needed
Application Area:Logging samples, mice, reagents, pathology, patient tracking, and due dates for experiments.
"I really love this customizable system. The only feature I wish it had now is mass updating. In a system I used previously, if you selected a bunch of samples and hit "mass update," you could change all the selected mice in one edit. Sometimes this is useful for things like sacrificing mice and adding the date of sacrifice for all the mice at once. Also, for the list for searches. the columns need to be able to be resized. Right now, most columns are cut and overlap with other columns - making it a word salad. There is more space to be utilized but you can't resize the lanes. If it resized like Excel, you could take up way less space for the sample name and add that space to other columns."

Well maintained, the LabCollector LIMS will safe you lots of time and nerves.
Application Area:Managing a lab focused on medical virology
"LabCollector LIMS is a complete tool for your lab inventory and stock management as well as, for example, equipment and protocol lists. It has a user-friendly interface and many great features. The storage management is especially well put together, making it easy to keep track of thousands of samples. The tool is easy to set up once you get used to the way it works and that is exactly where the LabCollector LIMS shines - its customization! No matter what kind of lab you work in, with some initial time invested you can create an inventory management system that suits your needs. Like any kind of software like this, it is only as good as its users. If you want to introduce the LabCollector to your lab, I would recommend introduction workshops as well as regular controls to see if people are using it correctly. The different perpetual licenses and the option to host the software on your own server are part of a very fair pricing model."

Great results and an important information system in our mission and vision.
Application Area:Analyze blood samples
"LabCollector has been important in providing one single interface for management of lab samples, storage, shipment and results. It has been an important update from the previous excel and access based databases. The cost of the perpetual license has been very valuable since some programs have funding deficits."

Great software to keep a track on everything we have!
Application Area:Day to day lab managing
"We're using LabCollector to manage our orders, materials, reagent and viral productions. We're able to keep a log of all the information about each of these (when was it produced, ordered, serial and lot numbers, who accessed it/used it, how much left and where exactly in the box/freezer it is). We're quite satisfied with it and everyone is using it in the lab."

Glad we made the transition to LabCollector.
Application Area:Laboratory and tissue samples tracking and management
"Lacbollector is cloud-hosted and backed up. We have transferred out entire inventory of patient as well as experimental samples from our proprietary database to LabCollector using the mass import function. Going forward, we use labelled with barcodes which can be read into LabCollector and tracked. Greatly improved the throughput of our lab, though the learning curve was steep and inertia for change was high."

Best customer service and support in the software industry - hands down.
Application Area:RND Lab - for non biological samples
"AgileBio software has been a huge factor in streamlining our R&D and testing lab. While we deal with non-biological samples, and this is not AgileBio's primary focus, the software and workflow is easily adaptable for our purpose. I'm sure it will be as such for yours too. Thank you to the AgileBio Team"
