The Renishaw Raman microscope is pretty handy and easy to use. It is easy to load the sample and focus the sample with the optical microscope. One issue is they need to provide a substrate for measuring optical transparent sample.

Renishaw Invia with spectrum and mapping, and 633nm 532nm 785 nm lasers is easy of use and fits almost all users here at Rice University. Also external users come here to use it too.

This is a robust piece of equipment, coupled with an AFM. As it was not recommended at purchase to also buy the Raman microscope, we only have the AFM 100 x objective. It is sometimes difficult to focus on the desired area of analysis.
