Quick, Simple, Easy

Application Area:

Quantify DNA on the 2100 bioanalyzer

The assy is rather simple. Prep your kit, prep your samples, load the chip, and run. Make sure to change your chip loader to DNA. Many times I've had labmates run RNA on the DNA setting and vice-versa.

It is very useful for a rapid and sensitive evaluation of low quantity of DNA fragments. Some problems can be observed with the matrix preparation especially after the priming step. Take care of the primer station!

The High Sensitivity DNA kit allows analysis of fragmented DNA or DNA libraries.

  • Increased sensitivity - down to 5 pg/µL
  • Analysis of complex DNA samples - down to 100 pg/µL for fragmented DNA or DNA libraries
  • Broad linear dynamic range - detection of less abundant PCR products
  • Smear analysis - specify size range of interest
  • Quantitation accuracy and reproducibility - quantitation of each DNA fragment against internal standards
  • Minimal sample consumption - only 1 µL of sample required
