Silia<i>Cat</i>®S-Pd and Silia<i>Cat</i>DPP-Pd: Highly Reactive and Reusable Heterogeneous Silica-Based Palladium Catalysts
SiliaCat®S-Pd and SiliaCat DPP-Pd are leach-resistant and highly reusable heterogeneous catalysts that are stable in aerobic reaction conditions. Their ability to provide cleaner, metal-free transformations, suggests that they will play an important role in the pharmaceutical industry where heavy metals, such as Pd intermediates are often strictly regulated.
Silia<i>Cat</i>® Pd<sup>0</sup> and Pt<sup>0</sup>: A New Class of Silica-Based Heterogeneous Catalysts
SiliaCat catalysts are innovative and unique heterogeneous catalysts made of a leach-proof organoceramic matrix. The latest addition to the SiliaCat product line is a new series of organosilica physically doped with nanostructured palladium(0) and platinum(0). Results for a number of fundamental organic transformations including C-C bond formation, selective debenzylation, hydrogenation and hydrosilylation are presented in this poster.
Flow Chemistry Using Silica-Based Silia<i>MetS</i> Metal Scavengers, Silia<i>Bond</i> Functionalized Silica Gels and Silia<i>Cat</i> Heterogeneous Catalysts
SiliCycle® has developed innovative silica-based metal scavengers (SiliaMetS), reagents (SiliaBond), and catalysts (SiliaCat), that can be successfully used in flow chemistry. SiliaMetS functionalized silica gels, SiliaBond reagents, and SiliaCat heterogeneous catalysts are great alternatives over competitive products often used in flow chemistry. Results of coupling and hydrogenation reactions using SiliaCat catalysts are presented in this poster. Metal removal using SiliaMetS Thiol and other reactions using SiliaBond reagents are also presented.
