Great for 3rd instar larvae dissection.
Application Area: Drosophila dissection
"The forceps are great for larvae dissection, maybe not that efficient for adult heads. Over time they loose sharpness."

Great tool from FST as per usual.
Application Area:Animal micro-surgeries.
"These are nice, high quality forceps that maintain a straight flat edge quite well over repeated use. They have held up incredibly well through many surgeries, cleanings, and sterilizations. The spring back they have is quite good, with an adequate amount of pressure necessary to grasp things giving good feedback to the surgeon."
The Dumont #5 Forceps are beveled, with very fine shanks for best visibility. They come in a variety of assorted styles and materials.
