Extremely versatile, easy to use, and highly reproducible kit!

"This kit saves so much time in comparison to their competitors - I'm able to process up to 24 samples in 1-1.5 hours. With the experiments I commonly undertake (usually up to 100 samples/ea), that is a HUGE time saver. And the price can't be beat, especially given how simple the isolation procedure is and the great reproducibility of the results. We are a multi-faceted lab that uses this kit to not only isolate RNA from human cell lines, but also from tick and fruit fly cell lines and whole or dissected tick tissues. Very versatile! I've never had an issue with the company either, which has always been an exceptional interaction!"

Application Area:RNA extraction from low sample amount
"RNA quality is sufficiently high for downstream applications (functional assays as well as molecular biology). We changed protocol a little and use only the H2O-phase after phenol-chloroform separation for isolation. Also we added a required addition of the DNAse digestion step to the protocol. Our RNA is almost completely DNA free."

Excellent RNA yield for qPCR experiments!

"This product is extremely effective for obtaining high quality RNA from tissue. We used brain and spinal cord for obtaining RNA for qPCR experiments and the results were excellently. The kit was easy to use and instructions were clear and provided alternatives should we need to change the protocol to fit our needs. Zymo Research is quick to respond to needs and orders. The price of the kit was well worth it as the RNA was of high quality and we could extract and purify it with ease thanks to the kit."
