The HPTLC PRO Module DEVELOPMENT is a part of the CAMAG® HPTLC PRO SYSTEM, which is the first fully automated HPTLC system worldwide.
The HPTLC PRO Module DEVELOPMENT revolutionizes the development step. With the new chamber geometry, this step is performed much faster. The gas phase can be actively circulated during development (conditioning) using a loop system through the conditioning tube, which contains a solvent system of choice, This procedure allows a to further optimize the separation of the target analytes. By using the same solvent system as the developing solvent, the gas phase is regenerated.
The CAMAG® HPTLC Software visionCATS allows you to prepare several analysis files, which can be used sequentially (Sequence Mode). In this Mode, the autonomous development of up to five different HPTLC glass plates (20 x 10 cm) with up to three different mobile phases is supported.
As a part of the CAMAG® HPTLC PRO SYSTEM, the Module DEVELOPMENT shares several components with the other modules and has a similar design. Each module can be operated either as stand-alone (Module Mode) or within the HPTLC PRO SYSTEM (System Mode). For the System Mode, the modules are connected and a conveyor transports the HPTLC plate from one module to the other.
