Great filter but can be difficult to change
Water sanitizer
Easy to use but have had issues when changing filters. Assembly of filters can be difficult.

Environmental Testing
The initial sale price was very advantageous, and the lab was able to purchase multiple units with limited funds. Installation was somewhat problematic, since the units were just introduced, and service was not completely familiarized. In the year of usage, several units have experienced sensor issues, and TOC module stopped functioning on all units after 1 year, which was not stated during purchasing. TOC units require annual calibration, and no software overrides currently available for labs that do not require FDA type audits. Therefore, units sell very competitively, easy to use, but have growing pains until bugs eliminated.

Cannabis testing: In-house prepared water as an alternative to bottled HPLC-grade water
In many testing laboratories, bottled HPLC-grade water is the standard when performing quantitative potency analysis for cannabinoids like THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) or CBD (Cannabidiol). However, in-house produced water may be a qualitatively equivalent and more cost-effective alternative.
Water is life: Ultrapure water in cell cultivation
Water is a major component of all cell culture media and is, therefore, needed to prepare media, buffers, and additives, as well as to serve many ancillary functions, such as heating, cooling, cleaning, and rinsing. Thus, water quality plays an important role in the outcome of cell culture experiments. Download this application note to find out how the Arium line of instruments are used to increase the quality of water in cell culture.

Analysis of aqueous mobile phase sample preparation and filtration steps in cannabis analytical testing
This poster demonstrate that aqueous mobile phase preparations from purchased lab grade bottled water yielded comparable results to in-house prepared water (Sartorius Arium purified water Type 1 and Type 3) and that using filters (Sartorius Minisart® RC, SRP, NY & NY Plus, all 0.2 µm) yielded comparable results to unfiltered specimens under the same mobile phase conditions.
HPLC: Improved sample preparation for high-sensitivity analysis
High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is a powerful analytical tool used for the separation, identification and quantification of individual compounds within a sample.
Using high-pressure systems and the latest column chemistry, this technique makes separations faster, reduces solvent consumption and increases resolution and sensitivity of results. Effective sample and standards preparation are important steps in order to achieve reproducible and specific results.
In this application-based eBook, we look at effective HPLC sample preparation and cover:
- Preparation of solvents
- Preparation of standards
- Filtration systems
