"This MSD replaces an ancient instrument (over 20 years old). It has performed very well. Learning an entirely new program has taken a little getting used to, but over time it has proven to be far superior. The system is just about 1 year old and has not needed any service from Agilent. We have a service contract, but haven't needed anything except a visit from our service rep after a few months for some additional training. Soon we will get our first PM and we'll see how that turns out. The sensitivity is excellent, the software is very flexible. I am glad to have this new GC/MSD."
