Thermal analysis of novel chemical compounds
The equipment is excellent for simple thermal analysis and it is suitable for my laboratory work. It is bit complicated to work with, not so user friendly. It is very reliable. There are some minor problems with cooling system and heating system (furnace) needs to be cleaned quite often. The biggest flaw of equipment is automatic sampler (robot) that can be used for multiple sample measurements. By default the software is set to open the furnace at the end of experiment, at high temperatures (up to 1600 C) and that can cause cracks on sensor. This should be corrected. Overall excellent and reliable piece of equipment, but for experienced users.
